During the Neil Sperry landscaping school today in Plano, Texas I had the priviledge of listening to Dr. Steven George explain the Earth Kind (r) Environmental Landscap Management System .  It is an absolutely "ground-breaking" pardon the pun, collection of research and and techniques to make environmentally friendly horticultural choices for your yard.

The program and research is conducted through Agri-Life Extension and Texas A&M.

Uses for Jam Jars

We are always looking for a way to store things more efficiently and keep things simple around our house.  It seems lately that we have had an over abundance of "commercial" glass jars from holiday baking and cooking.
